Makai’s Automotive Detailing began just a few years ago in our garage. At the time, it was only my wife and me—she was pregnant, and I was working full-time as a field engineer for Fortune 500 companies. On weekends, we detailed vehicles simply because I’ve always been a car enthusiast who took pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.
What started as a passion quickly revealed a strong need in Altus, OK for professional automotive detailing services done the right way.
From the beginning, we chose responsible growth. Every dollar earned was saved and reinvested. We took no loans, avoided shortcuts, and purchased equipment only when we could afford it outright. We invested heavily in professional training, certifications, and advanced detailing techniques. That commitment allowed us to grow into a premium auto detailing facility operating at standards comparable to major metropolitan markets.

Today, Makai’s Automotive Detailing services over 100 vehicles per month and has completed more than 250 ceramic coatings. We’ve built trusted partnerships with Wilmes Chevrolet, Four Star Toyota, Johnny Roberts Motors, the Altus Police Department, and many other local businesses.

Same-Day Auto Detailing with Secure Facility
We take personal responsibility for every vehicle entrusted to us. We don’t play games, and we don’t rush quality.
Most interior and exterior detailing services are completed with a same-day turnaround, typically within 3 to 4 hours. Vehicles are only kept overnight when undergoing ceramic coating, paint correction, or other premium detailing services, and all vehicles remain secured inside our facility during that time.

Our team has grown from one person to five dedicated professionals, including a senior detailer and developing intern detailers. Every team member shares our commitment to precision, accountability, and respect for each vehicle.

Why the Name Makai’s Matters
The name Makai’s is deeply personal. The company is named after our five-year-old son, who represents the future we are building toward. Growing up, our family wasn’t handed opportunities—only bills, hardships, and lessons learned the hard way. We made a conscious decision to change that story by building something meaningful and lasting.
Our family roots are Hawaiian, Filipino, Portuguese, and Samoan—proud Pacific Islanders whose values of hard work, respect, and community are woven into everything we do.
