What is Paint Correction?
Paint correction is the process of removing minor scratches and imperfections found in the vehicles clear coat.
Paint correction is an auto detailing procedure that removes hazing, minor scratches, marring, swirl marks, and other blemishes on the vehicle’s clear coat. It does this by using specialized machines and polishing compounds to slowly remove microscopic layers of clear coat until the surface is smooth again.

Assuming you’re dealing with a reputable detailer whose work is of decent quality you can expect to pay $500-800+ for 1-stage paint correction and anywhere from $1000-2000+ for 2+ stage paint correction. 1-stage correction should usually yield 50-80% improvement and 2-stage should get 80-95%+.
